I am the Chair/Founder of the Nakuru Environmental and Cultural Trust (NECT) a UK- registered charity working to promote ancestral heritage awareness among Kenyan youth in the UK. We support the Mbaruk Field Study Centre in Nakuru, working with subsistence farmers on food security.
I am a person-centred therapist, teach restorative justice to prisoners, and serve as lay member of the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory
Committee interviewing panel for selecting potential magistrates.
I also sit on the board of Big Voice London, an independent youth project supported by the United Kingdom Supreme Court.
For me, the Kenya Society is a de-tribalized forum that has potential for supporting genuine dialogue and conversations on controversial issues affecting Kenyans in the UK and back home.
