Across the valley, you find the  Western Highlands which include Kericho, the source of some the finest tea that finds its way to England and in different towns, you can join some of Kenya’s world-famous long-distance runners and train with them. Multiple world champion Lornah Kiplagat founded and runs HATC which stands for the High altitude training centre and has a track, gym, camp and hotel. There is also the Kip Keino High Performance Training Centre (HPTC Eldoret), an elite centre for learning & sports excellence that has benefited athletes in Kenya and all over the world.
