Membership

Membership to the Kenya Society is inclusive and open to all British, Kenyan, Indian, African, Commonwealth, American and International friends of Kenya residing in the United Kingdom. To strengthen links between Kenya and Britain, we offer Honorary Membership to the present and past Kenya High Commissioners to the UK and the current Diplomatic Staff at the Kenya High Commission in London.

Terms and Conditions

*Family Membership includes 2 adults and 2 children under 18 years residing in the same address.
*Student Membership applicants must provide a copy of their valid student ID for verification.
*Corporate Membership includes 6 applicants working in the same organisation.
*Couples Membership is for 2 adults living in the same address.
*Single Membership is for 1 adult.

Membership to the Society can be taken any time of the year. If you join in October or later, your first annual membership subscription will extend to the end of December the following year.

Annual membership runs for a calendar year starting on January 1st when members may opt to renew their membership by standing order or bank transfer. Details on the electronic membership registration form.

The Committee has the right to review the fees and benefits of the membership during the course of the year without prior consultation or notice. However, the tradition has been to maintain the low fees and consult with members on any changes.

All members of the Kenya Society must abide by the terms of our Constitution. The Committee has the right to revoke ones membership if the values and spirit of the society are not adhered to.
