On behalf of the Kenya High Commission, we are pleased to invite you to the launch event of King’s College London’s Africa Week, taking place from 4th – 8th March 2024.
 
On 4th March, H.E. Manoah Esipisu, the Kenyan High Commissioner to the UK, will deliver a keynote address exploring the pivotal question: Is African Agency for sale, for hire or self-renewal? How can Africa shape the UN Summit of the Future?
 
This session promises insightful discussions on:

The evolving definition of African agency in a changing world.Strategies for Africa to exert greater influence in global affairs.How the UN Summit of the future can be a platform for African voices to be heard.

The event will be co-hosted by the Kenya High Commission and King’s College African Leadership Centre. It launches Africa Week’s dynamic programme celebrating research, education and Africa-focused activities at King’s.

Africa Week promises thought-provoking discussions and celebrates the continent's contributions to the world. This year’s theme, "Owning Agency: Africa's Future and Evolving Path in the World," resonates deeply with our mission at the Kenya Society UK. It's a fantastic opportunity to:
