MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
8 APRIL 2023
Dear Members,
April marks the beginning of the spring season - a time for new beginnings, renewal, reflection and celebration for many faiths. This year, Easter, Passover, and Ramadan coincides at the same time – which happens once every 33 years. In this regard, I wanted to take this opportunity to express my warmest wishes to you all.
For those celebrating Easter, may this special time bring you and your loved ones joy, hope and renewal. May you find comfort in the resurrection of Christ and may his teachings guide you towards a life filled with love, compassion, and forgiveness.
For those celebrating Passover, may this festival of freedom and perseverance remind us of the importance of standing up for what is right and just. May we find inspiration in the story of the Exodus and may we work towards creating a world where all people can live in peace and freedom.
For those observing Ramadan, may this holy month be a time of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion. May you find strength in your faith and may your prayers be answered with blessings and guidance. Let there be light, prosperity and enhanced knowledge in your life.
My message to you all is that although we may come from different backgrounds, faiths and traditions, let us use this time to celebrate our shared values of love, compassion, and unity. May the spirit of these holidays bring us all closer together and inspire us to make a difference in the world.
So on behalf of the Committee Members of Kenya Society UK, I wish you all a happy and blessed holiday season. Happy Easter. Happy Passover. And Ramadan Mubarak!
With best wishes,
